Bingo
Classic 75-ball bingo for game night: everyone gets a card on their phone, the host calls the balls (or lets them auto-call) and checks every BINGO!
1โ40 players ยท free ยท no app to installHost a gameThis is classic 75-ball bingo, the version with B-I-N-G-O across the top of a 5 ร 5 card and a free space in the middle. The host calls the balls, players daub their cards, and the first to complete a pattern shouts BINGO.
Playing on phones takes the fiddly parts away. Each player gets their own card on their screen, every call shows up on every phone with a sound, and you can tap to daub or let auto-daub do it. When someone claims, the host sees their card checked against the called balls, so no one has to read numbers back.
It holds up to 40 players, which makes it a good pick for family bingo nights, office parties and anyone who has run out of paper cards. If you grew up with housie or tambola, this is the American cousin with bigger cards and different prizes.
How to play
- 1
The card
Each player gets their own 5 ร 5 card. The B column holds numbers from 1 to 15, I from 16 to 30, N from 31 to 45 with a free centre square, G from 46 to 60 and O from 61 to 75. - 2
Calling
Balls are called like N-42, on every phone and the TV. Each call has a 3-second Calling in countdown, which the host can cancel. The host taps to call each ball, or switches on auto-calling every 5, 8 or 12 seconds, and can switch between the two during the game. - 3
Daubing
Tap a called number on your card to daub it, or turn on auto-daub and your card marks itself. - 4
The prizes
Line: any full row, column or diagonal. Four corners: the four corner squares. X: both diagonals. Blackout: every square on the card. The host picks which prizes are in play, and at least one is always on. - 5
Claiming
Tap BINGO! and pick the prize you've got. Calling pauses while the host checks your card against the called balls, then they approve or turn it down. - 6
Shared wins
Each prize is won once, but valid claims made on the same ball share it. - 7
Ending the game
The game ends at Blackout, or once every prize in play has been won. The results rank players by prizes won. - 8
If someone leaves
A player who leaves drops out of the game, and any claim they had waiting is withdrawn.

Hosting tips

- Turn on the X prize for a longer game with more chances to win along the way.
- If you want to call with a bit of theatre, keep manual calling and read each ball aloud.
Questions
Is online bingo with friends free here?
Yes. It's free, with nothing to install, and works in any phone browser.
Do we need an app?
No. Players scan the QR code or open the link, sign in with Google, and their card appears in the browser.
How many people can play?
Up to 40 players, each on their own phone, plus an optional TV screen for the caller board.
Can we play on a TV?
Yes. The TV link from the waiting room shows the caller board on any big screen with a browser.
Can the host play too?
Yes. Turn on I'm playing too and the host gets a card alongside the caller controls.
What if two people get Bingo on the same ball?
They share the prize: valid claims made before the next ball all win.
What patterns can we play?
Line (any row, column or diagonal), Four corners, X (both diagonals) and Blackout (the whole card). The host chooses which are in play.
Is this the same as housie or tambola?
It's the same idea with a different card. Bingo uses a 5 ร 5 card and 75 balls; housie uses 15-item tickets. We have both.
