2–20 players · free · no app to installHost with the Diwali themeTambola is part of Diwali for a lot of families, squeezed in between the puja, the sweets and the card games. The Diwali theme swaps the usual numbers for 80 hand-drawn pictures of the festival itself: diyas and akash kandil lanterns, sparklers and anaar, kaju katli and gulab jamun, the aarti thali, rangoli, a toran over the door, and even a round of teen patti.
The pictures come in four groups: Lights, Sweets, Puja, and Home & fun. Each ticket holds 15 of them, and every call shows the picture and its name on every phone, so children who can't read numbers yet can play alongside their grandparents.
The prizes are the ones everyone expects: Early 5, Top, Middle and Bottom line, and Full house. Use it at a family Diwali night, a Diwali kitty party or the office celebration, with up to 20 players and the TV showing the board.

How it differs
Diwali is the theme housie opens with, and the other choice is Numbers. With Diwali, each ticket shows 15 illustrated pictures instead of numbers, and each call shows a picture and its name, so players match images rather than read digits. Prizes, calling and claims work exactly the same.
Questions
What pictures are in the Diwali theme?
80 illustrations in four groups. Lights has diyas, lanterns and fireworks; Sweets has treats like jalebi, laddoo and kaju katli; Puja has things like the aarti thali, kalash and marigolds; Home & fun has new clothes, gifts, mehendi and teen patti.
Can young children play Diwali tambola?
Yes. They match pictures instead of reading numbers, and each call shows the name too, so they can play on their own phone or share with a grown-up.
Does Diwali tambola work for an office party?
Yes. Up to 20 colleagues can play on their own phones, and the TV view works well on a meeting-room screen.
Are the prizes different with the Diwali theme?
No. You still play for Early 5, Top line, Middle line, Bottom line and Full house, with optional prize names you type in.
Can we use the Diwali pictures at other times of year?
Of course. The theme is there whenever you pick it, though it's at its best during the festival week.
